We work with two separate and completely unrelated companies. Knowing which is which matters, because they sell different things, ship separately, and handle their own refunds.
Thrivalist sells the Ready Harvest line: fully-cooked freeze-dried beef, chicken and pork sausage in sealed #10 cans and pantry cans. These are the products on our Shop, Beef, Chicken and Pork & Sausage pages.
We take part in the Thrivalist referral program as an independent partner (they call participants “Connectors”). Their published rates are 10% on Ready Harvest and Puravai products and 5% on other products. The program also pays 2% on sales made by people we personally enrol into it, and offers volume-based rank bonuses. We are disclosing that second-tier structure because you are entitled to know it exists.

Commission does not buy coverage here. We publish the drawbacks as well as the benefits — including where the 25-year shelf-life claim stops being true. Where we get something wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
